This was a commission that I worked hand in hand with the client to deliver something that would be within my style but still a powerful message. I wanted to showcase a dancer anding and surrounded by cloth almost sophisticated by the weight and amount of cloth around her. The main thing I wanted to show was the many masks that we as a society and minorities wear on a day-to-day basis to “get by” or to “pass”
